Though Marvel Studios is about to roll out their most mystical, magical installment yet with Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange, another highly anticipated superhero film just wrapped production. The cast and crew of Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok just finished filming in Australia today; the post-wrap celebration was broadcast to fans around the world over Facebook Live. Of course they didn't reveal anything about the movie itself during the event, though now that production is over, we should be getting an early look at the third Thor outing within the next few months.

The film sees Chris Hemsworth returning in the title role, along with returning stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner a.k.a. The Hulk. Cate Blanchett also stars as Hela, a powerful sorceress and ruler of the realm of the dead; with Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, a warrior woman from Valhalla; Karl Urban as the villain Skurge; and Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster, one of the oldest living beings in the universe who enjoys a variety of games, Thor: Ragnarok debuts on November 3, 2017.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the production on its final day:

Take a look at how some of the cast and crew celebrated the end of production over social media:

Speaking of Waititi, he might have let a little something slip about Thor: Ragnarok or the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large. Here's the comic book name-drop:

I'm not sure what context Miek was mentioned in, but the fact that the insectoid native of the planet Sakaar was even on Waititi's mind (and possibly pre-approved by his Marvel handlers) might be telling. The character was first introduced during the "Planet Hulk" storyline, a comic book arc which may just inspire a portion of the 2017 Thor film.
