By all accounts, the first season of the DC Universe series Titans (most famous for its "f--- Batman" trailer line) is one that got better as it went along. Vinnie Mancuso had a small change of heart from his initial scathing review of the first episodes, later saying that the finale did have cool post-credits cliffhanger. That cliffhanger is one that suggests an expansion to the character roster, including a newly announced Deathstroke.

Esai Morales (Ozark, Mozart in the Jungle) will portray the storied character who has a very complicated history within the DC Universe as a whole (and should not be confused with either Deadpool or Deadshot). For fans of the CW superhero series Arrow, Deathstroke played a key role in the series, and was portrayed there by Manu Bennett.

According to the official character bio for Titans:

“Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.”
