Tom Hiddleston is out promoting his new film I Saw the Light, and in his travels he swung by a Chicago news station to do a weather report because that’s the magic of Tom Hiddleston. People absolutely love the guy, and why shouldn’t they? He’s absolutely charming, and he does a nice job with this bit on Chicago 32 to assist them with their local weather report, in which he blames the recent storms in the Midwest on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor [via BMD].

This is the appeal of Tom Hiddleston. He knows how to have a good time on the press circuit. His turn as Loki showing up at Comic-Con will be an all-time great moment for the convention:

Hiddleston’s name has recently been bounced around for the next Bond, and if he took it, he would completely redefine the series. It’s not that he can’t do gritty, but I think trying to be the next Daniel Craig would be a mistake. He should be the first Hiddleston in the role, and give it his breezy charm but remove the campiness of past Bonds. Of course, it remains to be seen if he has eye on the Bond franchise after one last go as Loki in Thor: Ragnarok.

But that’s getting ahead of ourselves. Right now, he’s playing Hank Williams in I Saw the Light, which is currently in theaters. Watch our interview with him about the film when it premiered at TIFF last year:
