Damn, this movie looks so good. Disney has released three new clips for Brad Bird's (The IncrediblesTomorrowland. The film stars George Clooney as Frank, a disillusioned boy-genius who teams up with Casey (Britt Robertson), a curious and optimistic scientifically-inclined teenager, to discover the secrets of the enigmatic place known as “Tomorrowland”.

As a huge movie lover, I get psyched up to see a lot of movies, but in terms of peak excitement, Tommorrowland has to be at the top of the list right now. I love that it's an original big-budget sci-fi. I love that it delves into the mythology of Disney. I love that it looks like a live-action version of Bird's best animated work. Most of all, I love that it's an unabashedly wondrous and optimistic take on science fiction and future tech. Check out the new clips below.

I didn't want to watch these clips, but I couldn't help it. They're too good; packed with action, comedic beats and a child-like sense of wonder. Bird is really diving in on his use of color in the "Home Attack" clip, and it makes for a dynamic, visually engaging action scene. As usual, his action set-pieces have a Rube Goldberg machine quality that makes the sequences dynamic and thrilling. And that jet pack clip officially sealed the deal. I'm seeing this movie in IMAX.

Tomorrowland also stars Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson. The film opens in traditional theaters and IMAX on May 22nd.
