Disney has released a new Tomorrowland trailer along with four new posters. The plot follows Casey (Britt Robertson), an optimistic young teen with scientific curiosity, teams up with a disillusioned former boy-genius inventor (George Clooney) to embark on a journey to uncover the secrets “of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as ‘Tomorrowland.’”

With the movie only a month away, I would expect Disney to give away pretty much everything with this latest trailer, but there’s a surprising amount of restraint. Instead, this trailer takes us deep into one of the film’s set pieces, and it’s one that clearly takes place in the first act.

While I’m already sold on Tomorrowland and don’t want to know anything more about it, the Disney marketing machine is relentless, and they’ll be showing more than six minutes of footage from the movie in IMAX before screenings of Avengers: Age of Ultron. I really hope that move doesn’t backfire. “Hey! You know how you’re really excited to see the new Avengers movie? Well we’re going to show you six minutes of another film on top of all the trailers you just saw!” Hopefully viewer impatience won’t carry over into ill will.

Check out the new Tomorrowland trailer below along with four new posters. The film also stars Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson. Tomorrowland opens in traditional theaters and IMAX on May 22nd.

From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.

And here are the details for the IMAX preview:

In anticipation of the release of Disney’s Tomorrowland in IMAX® theatres, a special presentation of the film, featuring more than six minutes of footage to be introduced by director Brad Bird, will screen exclusively in IMAX® theatres domestically and in select international markets beginning May 1. The extended first look of Tomorrowland will screen directly prior to Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and will play for the duration of that film’s run in IMAX®.
