Bo Peep is back and she's a changed woman! Pixar has debuted a new poster, synopsis and teaser video introducing the world to Toy Story 4's new spin on Bo Peep and she's looking pretty pretty fierce. Long gone are the hoop dress and bonnet; this Bo Peep's been on the road and she's seen some things; she's rocking pants, a cape, and wields her staff like a boss, all while still sporting a cute af pink bow in her hair, thank you very much.

Toy Story 4 picks up with Woody and the rest of Andy's toys living their new life with Bonnie. But while Woody has always known his place in the world as a toy, Bonnie's new self-crafted toy Forky (Tony Hale) is having an existential crisis. Woody takes it upon himself to help Forky embrace his role as a toy, but winds up on an unexpected detour that reunites him with his long lost friend (and crush) Bo Peep. However, she's not the same perfect porcelain toy he knew in the past.

“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” said Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.” But their views on what it means to be a toy aren't quite on the same page. "After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries."

Annie Potts returns as the voice of Bo Peep for Toy Story 4, bringing a new take on the charcter. “She is modern, independent, capable and confident,” said Potts. “Bo is written and conceived to be inspiring as she has weathered life’s ups and downs with grace. I aspire to that.”

Here's the full new synopsis for Toy Story 4:

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.
