Now that we’ve seen a proper trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, Paramount Pictures has released a new IMAX poster for the Michael Bay-directed film.  Mark Wahlberg takes over lead acting duties in what’s essentially a reboot of Bay’s Transformers franchise, as he plays a father and inventor who accidentally discovers a discarded Transformer years after the “Battle in Chicago” from Transformers: Dark of the Moon, setting into motion events that make him the target of the U.S. government and result in the appearance of the Dinobots.  This new IMAX poster is basically just a still from the trailer, but it does a nice job of conveying that massive scale that should be a fine fit for the IMAX format.

Hit the jump to check out the new poster.  The film also stars Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, Titus Welliver, Han Geng, Sophia Myles, and Li Bingbing.  Transformers: Age of Extinction opens in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on June 27th.
