Five images from TRON: Legacy have arrived online.  Only the Jeff Bridges one is new, and the other four images we screengrabbed (along with 16 others) back when the trailer hit back in March.  But the official release of these images is yet another sign that Disney is ratcheting up the film's profile in advance of the big splash it's hoping to make at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.  How big of a splash?  They're calling Thursday, July 22nd "ComiTRON".  A press release informed us that "The panel for the film will be taking place at 11:15am in Hall H.  On the panel will be filmmakers and talent from the film, including director Joe Kosinski, producers Sean Bailey and Steven Lisberger as wells as cast members Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen and Bruce Boxleitner. The panel discussion, to be moderated by Patton Oswalt, is set to include exclusive glimpses of the film, as well as a Q & A involving all panel participants, along with special surprise guests."

I have no idea how they're going to top themselves from last year when they built a recreation of Flynn's Arcade packed with classic 80s arcade games, but just getting to see some new clips from the film is good enough for me because stills like these make TRON: Legacy look amazing.  Hit the jump to check out the images.  TRON: Legacy opens on December 17th.
