Two of the biggest movies of the upcoming holiday season, Sci-fi actioner Tron: Legacy, and the Ben Stiller/Robert De Niro comedy, Little Fockers have released new posters.  In addition, Magnolia Pictures has tapped renowned British comic artist Simon Bisley to create a new poster for Neil Marshall’s latest thriller, Centurion, featuring the film’s main characters played by Michael Fassbender and Olga Kurylenko.  Hit the jump for more:

The newest international Tron poster features a trenchcoated, moon boot-wearing, discus-wielding Jeff Bridges standing on a glassy, neon-blue lighted floor with a stark wasteland and dark clouds in the background.  It’s as if the poster designers stole the image right from my recurring dreams.  Every bit of promotional material for Tron: Legacy gets me mentally and physically excited.  This is no exception.  Tron is set to hit theaters December 17th.  Poster via IMPA

Unlike Tron, the poster Meet the Parents: Little Fockers, the third installment in the highly successful Meet the… saga, is the first official poster to be released.  And it’s fairly basic.  Ben Stiller, decked out in a fine sweater, is in a staring contest with Robert De Niro with the suggestion, “Maybe kids will bring them closer?” written above them.  Little Fockers comes out December 22nd.  Poster via IMPA

Finally, Apple has premiered the new Centurion poster. Here's the synopsis and some more info on Simon Bisley:

This is the first time Bisley has created a piece of art for a motion picture.  He is best known for his 1990s work on ABC Warriors, Lobo and Sláine; his style, reliant on paints, acrylics, inks and multiple mediums, and takes inspiration from rock album covers and graffiti, as well as traditional comics art.

Centurion, a gripping survival thriller set in early AD Britain, finds Quintus, the sole survivor of a savage raid on a Roman frontier fort, joining General Virilus’ legendary Ninth Legion to march north and wipe out the terrifying tribes known as the Picts.  When the Legion is attacked and Virilus seized, Quintus struggles to survive behind enemy lines with a small band of soldiers in a race to save their general and evade capture, torture and certain death.

Centurion stars Fassbender, Dominic West, Kurylenko, David Morrissey, Noel Clarke, Riz Ahmed, JJ Field, Liam Cunningham and Imogen Poots.  Magnolia Pictures will release Centurion on August 27, 2010; the film is also currently available VOD, VUDU, Playstation Network, Xbox Marketplace and Amazon.
