Fresh off the announcement that the film will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, a couple of new images from director Jay Roach’s (Recount) drama Trumbo have been released online. Bryan Cranston plays Hollywood screenwriter Douglas Trumbo, who famously refused to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee and was subsequently blacklisted and sentenced to an 11-month stay in prison. Despite his professional exile, Trumbo continued to write screenplays under pseudonyms, even winning two Academy Awards in the process for Roman Holiday and The Brave One.

These new images give a closer look at Cranston as Trumbo, as well as co-stars Helen Mirren as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper and Diane Lane as his wife Cleo. Check them out below. The film also stars Elle Fanning, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Louis C.K., and Alan Tudyk and will open in theaters on November 6th.
