Netflix is bringing some seriously manic late-night energy to its platform with a new animated series from the folks behind BoJack Horseman. Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) and Ali Wong (American Housewife), star in Tuca & Bertie, the new NSFW show from creator/showrunner Lisa Hanawalt. The new and completely bananas series brings the little-told story about the friendship of two thirty-something birdwomen to life when it debuts this May. And there's a brand new trailer to show off just how insane this series is about to get.

It really does feel like something from the think-tanks of Adult Swim. If the trailer is even remotely like the finished product of the series, fans can expect non sequiturs, all manner of randomness, and, above all, the unexpected. Also starring Steven Yeun with guest performances by Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Amber Ruffin, Jermaine Fowler, Tessa Thompson and many more, Tuca & Bertie arrives on Netflix May 3rd.

Take a look at the wild new trailer for Tuca & Bertie:

They're just two ride-or-fly BFFs winging it together. Watch Tuca & Bertie on Netflix May 3.
