The Tuesday TV ratings for March 17th are in; here are some of the highlights:

  • Despite a ridiculously jam-packed episode that felt like a season finale (at least, the last 10 minutes of it), The Flash's return at 8 p.m. on the CW from its mini-hiatus was met with sluggish numbers. The series was down 20 percent from its most recent episode, pulling a 1.2 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, and 3.55 million viewers. This is what a 22-episode season full of mini-breaks does ...!
  • Though The Flash as a lead-in didn't appear to give it much of a boost, the premiere of CW's iZombie at 9 p.m. garnered a 0.9 rating and 2.34 million viewers, which is about the same as Supernatural was pulling in that same spot (and which is also on par with the series premiere of The 100).
  • NBC's The Voice at 8 p.m. was down 9 percent from last week, but a sleepy night of reruns helped it to a 3.1 rating and 12.45 million viewers, giving NBC the win for the night with adults and with viewers overall.

Also on NBC, the season premiere of Undateable was up 46 percent from last season's summer premiere, pulling a 1.9 and 6.45 million viewers at 9 p.m., and winning its timeslot over ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was up 7 percent -- to a 1.6 rating and 4.29 million viewers -- from last week's series low.
  • The series premiere of One Big Happy on NBC at 9:30 p.m. notched a 1.6 rating and 5.55 million viewers, which isn't great for a premiere in that time slot, but also isn't terrible. And, it beat Fox's The Mindy Project, which brought in a 0.9 rating and 2.03 million viewers.
  • At 10 p.m., NBC's Chicago Fire won against two reruns with a 1.6 rating and 6.98 million viewers.
