A few release dates to announce:

  • New Line moved the Vacation reboot starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate to October 9, 2015.
  • Deepwater Horizon is set for September 30, 2016.  Mark Wahlberg is in talks to star in writer/director J.C. Chandor‘s follow-up to All Is Lost.
  • A Little Chaos will open March 27, 2015.  Kate Winslet, Stanley Tucci, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alan Rickman star in the feature directed by Rickman.

Vacation-release-dateWriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses) are making their feature directorial debut on Vacation.  Helms plays Rusty Griswold, who surprises his wife (Applegate) and kids (Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins) with a cross-country trip to Walley World.  Leslie Mann, Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Day, and original cast members Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo are also expected to appear in the reboot.
