The first Very Good Girls trailer for first-time writer/director Naomi Foner’s upcoming drama has been released online.  The film stars Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning as two best friends who, while home for one last New York summer, make a pact to lose their virginity before leaving for college.  Complications arise when they both start seeing the same man (Boyd Holbrook), which begins to test their lifelong friendship.  The film looks like a fairly run-of-the-mill coming-of-age drama with two talented actresses in the lead roles, but reviews from its Sundance debut last year were underwhelming to say the least.  That said, there is a silver lining in that Jenny Lewis wrote the original music.
