20th Century Fox has released the first Victor Frankenstein trailer. Directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock) and written by Max Landis (Chronicle), the latest take on Mary Shelley’s classic horror tale stars James McAvoy as the eponymous mad scientist and Daniel Radcliffe as his famous assistant Igor. The film is slightly reminiscent of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes films as the crux of the movie is the dynamic between Radcliffe and McAvoy. The two look to be having a lot of fun together, and I imagine the ups and downs of their relationship will be the highlight of the film. Indeed, at Comic-Con McGuigan described the movie as a love story between Victor and Igor, so get to shipping, folks!
