Peter from Slashfilm is a really good friend of mine. At least a few times a week we talk about upcoming movies, TV shows, what gossip each of us have heard, and anything else we might find exciting.

Since a number of our conversations cover things you also might find interesting, we’ve decided to start recording certain conversations as video blogs. Perhaps you already saw our video blog on Pixar’s “Up”, what we thought “Watchmen” would make opening weekend, or what we think will happen with future “Batman” movies.

Anyway, it’s time for our new video blog and it’s about the 2009 summer movies.

Since there are so many movies arriving this summer, we’ve decided to break it up by month and we’re going to do one blog per month. We’re already posted May and June, now it’s time for July and movies such as “Public Enemies”, “Bruno”, “I Love You Beth Cooper”, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince”, “Funny People”, “500 Days of Summer” and a lot more.

The thing to know is…this isn’t going to be some in depth look at each movie telling you who is staring in it and what it’s about. If that’s what you are looking for…sorry. Instead this is going to be two webheads talking about the buzz of each film, if we think it’ll be good or bad, and do we know anyone that has seen it. Basically, is the film something you should be looking forward to.

Finally, both Peter and I are on Twitter. To follow me click here, and click here to follow Peter.

And with that…here’s part 3. Look for our final blog on the summer movies in the next two days.
