Vaughn has signed on to the Paramount film Daddy’s Home as his next project.  Per Variety), Ferrell and Adam McKay (Anchorman) will produce the film for Gary Sanchez Productions along with Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane at Good Universe.  Cohen and McKay will write the script with Brian Burns (Entourage) and Chris Henchy (The Campaign).  I am excited to see a reunion of Vaughn and Ferrell, who made great comedic rivals in Anchorman.  Additionally, I am excited to see Ferrell reunite with McKay---their 2010 collaboration The Other Guys was one of the most underrated comedies of the decade.

Although not much is known about Fichtner’s specific role in Paramount's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake, Deadline says he will play a character with iconic stature in the Turtles’ mythology.  We have seen a few set photos of Fox and Arnett getting into character.  Fichtner has played a strong supporting role in numerous films, and I’m sure he will not disappoint in this one.  The actor will next be seen alongside Matt Damon in Neil Blomkamp’s (District 9) upcoming sci-fi thriller, Elysium, due August 9.  For all of you Ninja Turtles fans: what iconic role do you think Fichtner will be cast as?  Leave your comments below.
