The Walking Dead recap show is back with hosts John Rocha, Kaori Takee, Quinn Marie and Josh Macuga. Kaori is out of town and fortunately, not there to witness the most heartbreaking episode of this season and maybe of the last three seasons. The episode, titled ‘Thank You’, will go down in history as the episode where Glenn dies… RIP Glenn.

‘Thank You’ (Season 6, Episode 3) rejoins Rick and Co., as they fight to keep the herd of walkers toward their ultimate demise, 20 miles from Alexandria. Everyone is on the run again, and Rick makes it clear that everyone has to keep moving forward no matter what, which is basically the entire mantra of the show, but in no other episode has the necessity of this mentality been more apparent.

Rick leaves the group in order to get to Daryl, Sasha and Abraham, and meet at the original rally point. Meanwhile, Glenn, Michonne, Nicholas and their band of wounded ducks make their way into a small neighboring town, where they become sitting targets for the giant mass of walkers headed their way. This turns out to be the death of the Glenn as he plans to light a building on fire to be a distraction, but no building proved to be good enough kindling and the walkers are too quick. Michonne and crew make a break for it, and lose a few on the way, while Glenn and Nicholas end up cornered fresh meat. Nicholas says, “Thank you,” shoots himself, and in turn rips Glenn off a dumpster to where the walkers devour them. A heartbreaking ending to a great person, and a rock in the group. Again, RIP Glenn.

Rick makes it to the RV, where he takes down 5 Wolves, with bullets to the head and a machine gun mow down. Classic Rick. The only unfortunate thing is that while in the gun battle, the RV is shot (by the Wolf Morgan let get away, no less) and will not start, leaving Rick on a lonely island surrounded by his own herd. Cinematically one of the most intense episodes of television you will ever watch. Incredible.
