HBO premiered the first episode of its new comedy series Togetherness last night, but today the pay cable channel has made the episode available in its entirety to all. Created, written, and directed by brothers Jay and Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home), the story follows four adults living under the same roof in Los Angeles as they try to figure out what they want out of life. Allison praised the show’s comedy and depth in her review of the first few episodes, and having watched the pilot last night I also count myself as a fan. The central foursome, played by Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey, Amanda Peet, and Steve Zissis, work really well together, and there’s an honesty to the drama the refuses to delve into bitterness. I’m very much looking forward to checking out the next few episodes, and I highly suggest watching the pilot if you haven’t seen it.
Watch the first episode of Togetherness in full after the jump. The show airs on Sunday nights on HBO at 9:30pm ET.
