The Wednesday TV ratings for May 20th are in; here are some of the highlights:

  • CBS's Survivor closed out its season with a 2.2 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, and 9.41 million viewers. That's down slightly from last week's 2.3 rating, but it helped CBS win the night in the ratings and with viewers overall.
  • ABC's new game show 500 Questions debuted at 8 p.m. to a soft 1.2 rating and 5.03 million viewers.
  • The season premiere of MasterChef on Fox brought in similar numbers, with a 1.2 rating and 3.34 million viewers from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

    The season finale of NBC's The Mysteries of Laura got a tiny bump to a 1.1 rating and 7.26 million viewers at 8 p.m.
  • Modern Family's season finale at 9 p.m. notched a series low 2.2 rating and 7.11 million viewers for ABC (way down from last week's 2.7 rating). black-ish was also down to a series low 1.6 rating and 5.39 million viewers for its season finale at 9:30 p.m.
  • Law and Order: SVU was down to two tenths to a 1.4 rating and 7.24 million viewers at 9 p.m.
  • Supernatural finished up its most recent season on the CW with an ever-steady 0.7 rating and 1.78 million viewers at 9 p.m.
  • At 10 p.m., a Survivor Reunion show won the hour with a 1.7 rating and 6.89 million viewers, while Chicago PD was down on NBC to a 1.4 rating and 7.19 million viewers.
  • The season premiere of Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC notched a 1.0 rating and 3.33 million viewers.
