The weekend TV ratings for Friday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 5th are in; here are some of the highlights:

  • On Friday, most everything was down again because of the holiday weekend, although NBC's Grimm at 8 p.m. stayed steady with its series low of a 0.7 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, and 4.52 million viewers (so, not exactly something to boast about).
  • Saturday was completely dead, so let's skip to Sunday, which was … filled with reruns. But there were a few noteworthy ratings to report. The premiere of NBC's A.D.: The Bible Continues earned a healthy 2.3 rating and 9.5 million viewers at 9 p.m., blowing the rest of its competition out of the water (though it didn't quit hit the original Bible miniseries' numbers).
  • At 10 p.m., American Odyssey premiered with a soft 1.2 rating and 5.4 million viewers. It was a soft hour all around, with CBS's Battle Creek barely registering with a 0.7 rating and 5.66 million viewers.
  • Earlier in the night, CBS's Madam Secretary was down three tenths from last week to a 1.1 and 9.12 million viewers at 8 p.m. The Good Wife at 9 p.m. was sadly steady with last week's series low 1.0 rating and 7.78 million viewers.
