Wes Anderson’s unique aesthetic permeates almost all of his movies (Bottle Rocket being the exception), and they draw you in to a symmetrical, picturesque world that’s precious, exacting, and charming. And now you can actually sit inside of it.

The Huffington Post reports that Anderson helped design the new Bar Luce, an Italian cafe that opened Saturday in Milan's Fondazione Prada building. As you can see from the images below, if it didn’t come from Anderson, it would be outright plagiarism. While there are still other influences (their websites cites Italian popular culture and aesthetics from the 1950s and 1960s and Italian Neorealism), Anderson’s stamp is unmistakable.

Anderson does note that a three-dimensional space doesn’t perfectly align with his aesthetic. “It is for real life, and ought to have numerous good spots for eating, drinking, talking, reading, etc.,” Anderson wrote on Bar Luce’s website. “While I do think it would make a pretty good movie set, I think it would be an even better place to write a movie. I tried to make it a bar I would want to spend my own non-fictional afternoons in.’” And I would try to hit the high score on the Life Aquatic pinball machine:

Check out more images of Bar Luce below. The café opened this past weekend.
