Three of these actors fought side by side in the Marvel Universe, while one actor was Steve Trevor in the DC universe. What do all four of these actors have in common? They're known as "Hollywood's Chrises". Hollywood Chrises was a term given to Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, and Chris Pratt for their acting and indistinguishable facial features.

Evans, Hemsworth, Pine, and Pratt all were, at one point, leading stars of blockbuster hits. They depicted empathetic and tough characters in various movies. The events of September 11, 2001, shook the nation to its core. It was recorded in history as the day that the United States endured terrorist attacks from the militant Islamist organization al-Qaeda. After 2001, the United States made its mission to find the person or group responsible for the attacks. Zero Dark Thirty (2012) retold the story of the manhunt for Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al-Qaeda organization.

Zero Dark Thirty starred Jessica Chastain as Maya, a CIA operative who tracked the location of the leader. Maya led the Navy SEAL team that included Justin (Pratt) and Patrick (Joel Edgerton). On Rotten Tomatoes, Zero Dark Thirty scored a 91% rating on the Tomatometer and an 80% rating from audiences.

9. Hemsworth in 'Thor: Ragnarok' (2017)

Thor (Hemsworth) didn't know he had a sister, Hela (Cate Blanchett) and he didn't imagine a reunion with her would threaten Asgard. Thor and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) teleported to the planet Sakaar, where Thor was caught and served as a prisoner to the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). As prisoner, Thor stood in a head-to-head battle against the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in a gladiator arena.

Hela, the Goddess of Darkness, was released from her imprisonment after Odin's death with her master plan of unleashing Ragnarok. Thor devised a plan to have Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who previously fought against Hela, help him defeat Hela once again. On Rotten Tomatoes, Thor: Ragnarok scored a 93% rating on the Tomatometer and audiences gave the movie an 87% rating.

8. Evans in 'Snowpiercer' (2013)

In this post-apocalyptic movie, Snowpiercer (2013), the world in 2031 completely froze over. This global catastrophe wasn't caused by a super storm such as in the 2004 movie The Day After Tomorrow but a repercussion of the government releasing a substance to control global warming. Snowpiercer was a train that carried only the survivors separated by social classes.

Nested in the back of the train was the lower class, and Curtis (Evans) was their leader. As their leader, he pushed for a way to move his group further closer to the front of the train. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Snowpiercer earned a 94% rating on the Tomatometer, and a 72% rating among audiences.

7. Pratt in 'Moneyball' (2011)

Is it possible to assemble a statistically winning team? Based on the book, Moneyball (2011) starred Brad Pitt as Billy Beane, a general manager for the Oakland Athletics baseball team. Billy was an optimist who believed that he can deliberately build a strong winning team based on the statistics of each player.

One of the baseball players that Billy recruited was Scott Hatteberg (Pratt), a baseball pitcher. Moneyball romanticized baseball that transcended beyond analyzing players' pitching averages and calculating the probability of winning. Moneyball scored a 94% rating on the Tomatometer and an 86% rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

6. Hemsworth and Pine in 'Star Trek' (2009)

In Star Trek (2009), James Tiberius Kirk (Pine) didn't know what his true destiny was until he met Captain Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood) in a bar. Captain Pike believed that James Kirk can live up to his father's legacy serving as a captain of Starfleet. While Captain Pike believed in his potential, James Kirk had to prove to the other recruits that he was just as skilled as them.

Starfleet was an organization under the United Federation of Planets, their main objective is to engage in space exploration and defend against any threats. Besides Pine, Hemsworth also had a role in Star Trek as George Samuel Kirk, Sr. the former Starfleet officer. Star Trek (2009) earned a 94% rating on the Tomatometer and a 91% rating from audiences according to Rotten Tomatoes.

5. Evans and Hemsworth in 'Avengers: Endgame' (2019)

In Avengers: Infinity War (2018), fans saw the Avengers lose to Thanos after acquiring six Infinity Stone to power his Infinity gauntlet. In Avengers: Endgame (2019), the heroes that survived were coping with the aftermath such as the widespread devastation on earth. Avengers considered the possibility of reversing the events that happened by using the Infinity gauntlet.

Captain America (Evans) and Thor (Hemsworth) teamed up with the surviving Avengers such as Black Widow, Iron Man, and Ant-Man to develop a new plan to defeat Thanos. In Avengers: Endgame, the heroes experienced heartbreaking sacrifices to save others. Avengers: Endgame earned a 94% score on the Tomatometer and a 90% score among audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

4. Pratt in 'The Lego Movie' (2014)

Everything is awesome for Emmet Brickowski (voiced by Pratt), a construction worker in The Lego Movie (2014). His ordinary world was flipped when he met Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) and realized that Emmet is the key to saving the world. The Lego universe was threatened by Lord Business who planned on gluing all the characters in place.

Emmet radiated positivity even overpriced coffee didn't bother him. The Lego Movie revealed an inventive 3D world made of LEGOS bricks with radiant LEGO characters such as Batman. The Lego Movie scored a 96% rating on the Tomatometer, and an 87% score from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

3. Pine in 'Hell or High Water' (2016)

The Howard brothers did everything to save their family farm. In the western movie, Hell or High Water (2016), Toby (Pine) and Tanner (Ben Foster) were threatened that if they don't pay off their loan, they will face foreclosure on their family farm. They descended a path of crime, where they robbed Texas banks to pay off their loan.

Tanner had a previous criminal history having recently been released from prison, while Toby, a single father, who's never committed a crime. Hell or High Water scored a 97% rating on the Tomatometer while audiences gave the movie an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Fox mentioned that they plan to develop a Hell or High Water TV series, but fans will have to wait and see whether the original actors will or won's reprise their roles.

2. Evans in 'Knives Out' (2019)

In Knives Out (2019), Marta Cabrera (Ana de Armas) was hired to be Harlan Thrombey's (Christopher Plummer) nurse. She's also the last person that saw him alive. However, the facts weren't as cut and dry as they seemed to be since the rest of the family members had their versions of what happened that night.

To understand the motives and reasoning behind Harlan's death, Detective Benoit Blanc explained it through his donut hole theory in Knives Out. Evans portrayed Ransom Drysdale, a skilled manipulator and the arrogant grandson of Harlan. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Knives Out scored a 97% rating on the Tomatometer and a 92% rating among audiences.

The documentary Love, Antosha (2019) focused on the actor Anton Yelchin's life. Yelchin was born on March 11, 1989, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and died in a tragic car accident on June 16, 2016, at the age of 27. He was an actor known for portraying Chekov in Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek: Into the Darkness (2013).

The movie included images and video footage of Yelchin as a child. Pine and other actors were interviewed about their relationship with Yelchin. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Love, Antosha, scored a 97% rating on the Tomatometer, and audiences gave the movie a 93% rating.
