Bel Powley gave a banger of a breakout performance in 2015's Diary of a Teenage Girl, which saw the young actress give an incredibly intimate and unadorned portrayal of a young woman discovering herself in the 1970s. With Wildling, Powley once again taps into the performance wellspring of self-discovery, but with a decidedly more brutal slant.

The dark fantasy tale stars Powley as Anna, a young woman who spent her whole childhood locked in a single room, raised by a man she knows only as "Daddy" (Brad Dourif), terrified of the "Wildling" he tells her waits to feast on the flesh of children outside. When Anna is freed at the age of 16, she experiences the outside world for the first time just as she crosses that liminal age into womanhood, and quickly discovers new, empowering and terrifying truths about herself.

With Wildling arriving in theaters in New York and LA and available on VOD and Digital HD on April 13th, we've got an exclusive new clip for the fairy tale-tinged horror movie. The film also stars Liv Tyler, James Le Gros, and Mike Faist. Watch the clip below.
