The Wrap reports that Dafoe will join The Fault in Our Stars as "reclusive author Peter Van Houten".  Woodley and Elgort star as two teens battling cancer who find solace in their budding romantic relationship.  In the novel, the teens plan to travel to visit Van Houten, as they have bonded in part over his book.  Laura Dern and Sam Trammell co-star as Woodley’s character's parents.

THR has Hunter getting the lead opposite Pacino in Manglehorn, a drama that centers on "an eccentric man coming to terms with a past crime that cost him the love of his life". The story, written by Paul Logan, is based on an original story by himself and Green.  There were no details in the write-up as to Messina and Korine's roles.

Finally from Variety, it looks as if Stevens will join the cast of 22 Jump Street, but no character details are available at the moment.  Scripted by Michael Bacall and Oren Uziel, the sequel sees "officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) go deep undercover at a local college, but when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership."
