We've been getting a string of character featurettes for The Wolverine this week (click on the respective links for Logan, Harada, and Yukio), and now one has been released for the villain, Viper (Svetlana Khodchenkova).  She describes herself as a chemist, but she's also got some mutant powers.  Some are silly but neat like her snake tongue and skin-shedding, and others are just plain silly, most notably her ability to hurt people by blowing on them.  It's hard to reconcile director James Mangold's previous statement about this film as a Japanese film noir, and then see a character like Viper.

Hit the jump to check out the featurette.  The film also stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, and Tao OkamotoThe Wolverine opens in 3D on July 26th.
