While I always post cosplay pictures from WonderCon and Comic-Con, I rarely take pics of the convention floor, or the throngs of people congregating inside and outside the actual convention. So as I walked around WonderCon on Friday and Saturday taking tons of cosplay pics (that article is coming soon), I decided to also snap pics of some of the various booths and people hanging around.
Unlike Comic-Con, where the convention floor feels like a giant display for huge companies to peddle their wares, this year’s WonderCon was loaded with comic book dealers, artists, and tons of independent dealers selling everything from clothing to toys. The convention looked like Comic-Con ten years ago, before mega-corporations invaded geek culture.
In the coming hours and days we’ll have plenty more WonderCon coverage, but if you wanted to see what this year looked like both inside and outside the convention floor, check out these eighty pictures.
