The first trailer for 20th Century Fox's newest X-Men movie X-Men: Apocalypse is set to play on the big screen in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but first it will actually make its debut online tomorrow. Perhaps Bryan Singer and company watched along with the rest of us as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War released new trailers to great fanfare across the Internet. Hopefully we'll get our first good look at Apocalypse in action, because they have a lot of convincing to do to win fans over on that front.

James McAvoy returns as Professor Charles Xavier alongside Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, and Lucas Till as Havok. New additions include Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, and Lana Condor as Jubilee, with Oscar Isaac as the film’s title antagonist, the ancient and invincible Apocalypse. Be sure to check in with Collider tomorrow for the new trailer!

Here’s the official X-Men: Apocalypse synopsis.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
