Rather than settling for grainy, long-distance shots from amateur photographers taking unofficial photos of extras and off-camera actors, directors like Bryan Singer and Marc Webb have taken to social media to dispense their own brand of set photos. Today's helping comes from Singer on set of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Two new images reveal the difficulties of shooting a scene on water, along with a collection of very familiar artifacts.
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Peter Dinklage, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, 2014.
